Special Points: Yellow Catuai was developed by the Institute of Agronomy in Campinas in 1949. It was introduced in to production in 1972. It is a cross between Mundo Novo & Caturra. The name isderived from the Guarani word for,“very good!”

Antônio José de Vilas Boas journey into coffee actually started with tomatoes. After several years of farming Jose decided it was time to invest in his real love, coffee. In 2000 he bought the 30-hectare lot where there were 1500 thousand feet of coffee. Jose named the land Sítio Dois Irmãos in honor of his two sons, Antonio &  Allen. In English this translates as the Site of the Two Brothers. This beautiful farm is located at the foot of Serra da Pedra Branca.
